Join us for an exciting day of networking, learning, and inspiration as we support students and aspiring/early career professionals. Events include a college/career fair, presentations from undergraduate case study competition winners, and poster sessions/presentations from our undergraduate, graduate/professional student scholars. The day will culminate with our kickoff mixer where we'll honor several Louisiana professionals who go the extra mile to support neurodivergent youth.

“Takeoff Ready” Student Innovators Program
The “Takeoff Ready” Student Innovators Program is designed to empower undergraduate students across the United States to immerse themselves in the world of behavioral health by creatively tackling challenges commonly faced by neurodivergent youth and their loved ones. Through an equity-based lens, students will explore a plethora of scenarios that challenge them to examine societal paradigms, policies, and daily practices that commonly impact this population.
Call for Posters and Presenters
The NeurodivURGENT team is currently seeking undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who have done equity-centered research and/or field work on behalf of neurodivergent youth in the following disciplines: law/legal profession, education, social work, psychology, neuroscience, public health, policy/public service and medicine
​
Emphasis must be placed on one or more of the following five (5) areas: cognition & learning, rehabilitative justice, behavioral and emotional health, equitable access to screening and treatment and/or caregiver support.

Though The NeurodivURGENT Project is a nationwide effort, this award specifically recognizes those in our home state who are doing phenomenal work in alignment with our mission. Here’s your chance to help us honor these amazing individuals for their often thankless efforts. ​​
