About Mrs. Taylor-Magee
Jolanda Taylor-Magee, M.A.T., is a change agent and higher education professional with nearly 20 years of experience in providing project management, leadership development and equitable opportunities for organizations. She has contributed to student services, student development, and retention of marginalized populations.

Jolanda holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Grambling State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts Studies, with a concentration in Sociology from Southeastern Louisiana University. Additionally, Jolanda has earned a Diversity in the Workplace Certificate from The University of South Florida and completed the Implicit Bias Certificate from the Kirwan Institute at Ohio State University. Jolanda is a Certified Leadership & Organization Consultant, Professional Coach, Speaker, and DISC Behavioral Analyst with the John Maxwell Team. In 2024, she was awarded the Exemplary Leader Award from Baton Rouge Community College. Overall, she values providing educational access and success, creating innovative experiences that promote cultural competencies, and producing collaborative environments where teams succeed.
